The Demon Projects are a series of creations built for use at The Haunted Hayrides of Scarborough (formerly Gorham), Maine. I have worked there as a haunter for 6 years. The first year on board I used a costume supplied by the company, and had a few personal problems, being a bit short for the standard outfits. Since then I have made my own costume, the first consisting of a black shroud and a mask bought from Spencer's...which I touched up a bit. But now I have decided to create things never before seen by the local hayride community. And it has been worth every minute of effort. The Soul Chaser and The Seeker are the first two in the series of demons, with many more to follow. Unfortunately, there is no documentation on the building process for Soul Chaser, just a few end result photos taken in the woods behind my house. But I do have an almost complete record for The Seeker and one to follow for 2004, which I will make available as it progresses. I hope you will find it, at the least, interesting and possibly inspiratioinal as well.
